I’m John Boyle. I work as a tutor, assessor and mentor across F-Gas, hydrocarbons, heat pumps and air conditioning. F-Gas 1 Training Services brings that work to engineers and training centres through practical coaching, training delivery and assessment support.
My approach is straightforward: work with the person in front of me, connect the task to the reason behind it, and make space for questions and practice. Good technique is easier to repeat when you understand what each step is doing and why it matters.
From qualification to confident work
The on-site coaching offer is for F-Gas qualified engineers who want more practical confidence with split A2W/A2A systems and heat pumps. Coaching can be one-to-one or arranged for a business team, and is shaped around the equipment and tasks agreed in advance.
Sessions can focus on pressure testing, evacuation and dehydration, refrigerant recovery and charging, pump-downs and line clearing, commissioning and servicing practice, fault finding, safe work and avoiding refrigerant losses. The aim is to help engineers practise good procedures and make sound decisions in a real work context.
Support for training centres
I also work with training centres that need F-Gas training delivered or assessor support. Each engagement is discussed with the centre so the course, learner group, assessment plan, dates and requirements are clear before work begins.
My LinkedIn profile lists the professional designations MinstRE and MCIPHE, and describes my work as Tutor, Assessor and Mentor. View John Boyle on LinkedIn ↗
